Kawaii Frosted Cupcake #15

A kawaii cupcake sits at the centre of the page, its frosting piped into a tall spiral that curls into a peak on top. Two big lash-lined eyes, small oval cheek blushes and a tiny "w"-shaped mouth sit on its body. Rounded arms reach out from the paper liner to hug a heart against the frosting. The liner, with its scalloped edge and vertical ribbing, is ringed by stars, sparkles, hearts and small flowers on the white background. This kawaii coloring page pairs big easy shapes - the swirl, the liner - with finer motifs suited to older children. The outline is bold on the cupcake and lighter on the doodles around it, so filling in the swirl and liner first, then the small symbols, keeps the hugged heart as the clear focal point. A printable page that works for a quick session or a longer one.
