Kawaii Mermaids Coloring Page #19

A kawaii mermaid floats front-on, her long wavy hair framing her face and a starfish clip tucked into one strand. Her enormous sparkling eyes, lined with lashes, dominate the upper half of her face, paired with a tiny nose and the smallest curved smile. Two round blush marks sit on her cheeks. A smiling starfish rests over her chest, and her tail is built from layered overlapping scales ending in a striped fin that curls to the right. Hearts, sparkles, flowers, and little bubbles float all around her. This kawaii coloring page mixes big, easy shapes (hair, tail) with small scattered motifs (hearts, flowers, bubbles) that reward a steadier hand, so it suits younger colorists and more careful ones alike. The outline is bold and clean, though the layered scales on the tail call for finer strokes to keep each row distinct. A shimmery palette works well for the tail and hair, while the tiny background shapes are good for testing bright leftover colors. It makes an easy printable page for a quiet afternoon.
