Kawaii Valentine Kawaii Coloring Page #9

A round, earless little creature stands on two short feet in the middle of the page. Its big oval eyes each carry a single white highlight, the nose is tiny, and the mouth is nothing more than a small curved smile between two round cheeks. One paw holds a heart-shaped balloon, the other cradles a small box stacked with hearts. Stars, sparkles, flowers, hearts and bubbles of different sizes float all around it. This kawaii coloring page balances one large oval body, a single wide surface to fill in, against dozens of tiny motifs that call for a fine-tipped marker. Kids around 4-5 can handle the body and balloon, while older colorists can vary the shades on the hearts and stars without going over the lines. Since it's a printable page, a fresh copy is easy to grab if a detail goes wrong.
