Kawaii Mermaids Coloring Page #29

A kawaii mermaid floats front-on at the center of the picture, her tail curling to the left. Her long wavy hair is parted in the middle and pinned with a starfish on the right side. Her face has huge round eyes lined with long lashes, a tiny dot nose, a barely-there smile, and two round shaded cheeks. A scallop-shell top covers her chest, and her scaly tail ends in a wide two-lobed fin. Hearts, sparkling stars, spirals, small circles and a flower drift all around her. The big fin, hair strands and shell top give young colorists large, easy shapes to fill, while the many individual scales and the scattered motifs reward a steadier hand. This printable kawaii coloring page suits both preschoolers and older kids who enjoy fine detail, thanks to its clean, fairly bold outline. A good tip: pick two close shades for the fin and the scales so the tail reads as one continuous piece once colored.
