Kawaii Mermaids Coloring Page #26

A round-faced mermaid sits at the center of the page, holding a starfish close to her chest with both hands. Her big round eyes, tiny smile and rosy cheeks give her a gentle, cheerful look. Long wavy hair frames her face on both sides, held back by a starfish-shaped clip, and her tail is covered in curved scales ending in a fin. Stars, hearts, flowers, small circles and sparkles float around her, all drawn in simple outline. The linework stays fine around the face and the rows of scales, calling for a steady hand, while the hair, tail and surrounding shapes leave wide, easy areas to fill in. This kawaii coloring page suits younger children working on the bigger sections just as well as older kids or adults who enjoy shading each scale individually. As a printable sheet, it works nicely with colored pencils for blending soft tones through the waves of hair.
