Kawaii Chibi Boys Coloring Page #29

A chibi boy stands facing forward, one hand holding a large swirl lollipop while both arms mostly disappear into the sleeves of an oversized hoodie. His round face is dominated by two huge circular eyes, a tiny nose and a small smiling mouth, with short blush marks on each cheek. His spiky hair sticks up in two tufts at the top. The hoodie has a kangaroo pocket printed with two paw prints, striped cuffs, and he wears shorts with a striped waistband plus striped knee-high socks. Stars of different sizes, hearts and two flowers float around him. This kawaii coloring page gives young children large, simple zones to fill on the hoodie, shorts and hair, while the swirled lollipop and the smaller stars ask for steadier hands. The outline is bold and continuous, which keeps colors from spilling over. Working the striped cuffs and socks last, after the plain sweatshirt is done, keeps the striping from getting messy. As a printable sheet, it suits a preschooler working in broad strokes just as well as an older child ready to line up thin stripes.
