Kawaii Cat in Teacup #1

A round-headed kawaii kitten sits inside a teacup, both front paws resting on the rim and its tail curling up beside the handle. Big oval eyes with round highlights, a tiny triangular nose, a small closed smile and two shaded cheek ovals give it a soft, sleepy charm, topped by a little three-point tuft of fur. Smiling stars, five-petal flowers and hearts, one of them with its own tiny face, float around the cup, which sits on a saucer and carries a band of scrollwork, hearts and dots along its middle. The outline stays medium and even, leaving large open spaces on the kitten's head and body that are easy for small hands to fill, while the scroll pattern on the cup, the whiskers and the little stars need a steadier, finer hand. This kawaii coloring page suits younger children on the big shapes and older ones on the teacup's decorative band. Printable on plain white paper, it works best colored from the kitten outward, saving the busiest patterns on the cup for last.
