Kawaii Banana #2

A whole banana with its stem fills most of the page, tilted diagonally with the stalk pointing upward. Its round face has large lashed eyes, a small smiling "w"-shaped mouth, and two softly shaded oval cheeks. Two curved lines run along the fruit's length to suggest its natural curve. Scattered around it are small four- and five-point stars, hearts, circles, and tiny round-petaled flowers. This kawaii coloring page pairs one large, simple shape, the banana itself, with many tiny motifs to fill in individually around it. The outline is clean and fairly bold, making the fruit itself easy for younger children, while the stars and flowers need steadier hands. As a printable sheet it works well for practicing two techniques at once: broad flat color on the body and varied small dabs of color on each surrounding symbol.
